  2. Games night: This is always a family favourite and the beauty is that the games can be as simple or as complicated as you want. If you're on a budget and don't want to buy expensive board games, try these DIY options; bingo night, card games, treasure hunt, balloon football, charades or hide and seek.
  3. Cooking party: This is a game but also a fun way to get you help with making dinner! Let the little ones get involved in the kitchen and maybe make a fun batch of cookies.
  4. Karaoke party: It doesn't matter if you can sing or not. Dancing around belting out your favourite songs makes the best memories.
  5. Family dance-off: All you need to do is push back the furniture in one of your rooms so you have plenty of space to get jiggy. Make the dance-off even more competitive by offering a prize for the winner.
  6. Create a time capsule: This is such a wholesome New Year's Eve family activity. All you need to do is choose where you'll hide your time capsule, pick your container (box or jar for example), decide what to include, set a timeframe, seal it, set the date for retrieving it and hide it!
  7. Make a 2023 vision board: It's never too early to teach your kids about manifestation and visualisation - and the power of hard work! This New Year's Eve activity idea is another wholesome one that can be enjoyed no matter what age your kids are.
